My guest in this episode is Mar del Cerro, a meditation teacher and health coach from Mexico City. Mar is also a fellow podcast host of Medita Podcast, a Spanish broadcast dedicated -of all things- to guide you through meditation!
Mar learned to meditate when she was eight years old. A teacher noticed that she had anxiety issues and taught her techniques to relax, sleep better and deal with anxiety. That, says Mar, was the best advice she has ever received.
This practice can seem intimidating for some of us who are not very familiar with it. But according to Mar, meditating is really easy. It is all about focusing on your breathing and being present in the moment with yourself.
Meditating 10 minutes every day can make a huge impact in your well-being. It can hep decrease stress and anxiety, and increase focus and productivity.
Through meditation you can learn to respond to your environment instead of reacting to it.
